A PRAYER FOR PASSION

The preformance of the actors in A Prayer for Passion was acomplished in only a few takes so not to tire out the actors. We used a small doorway dolly to accomplish the master shoot in which the main actor is revealed in the waiting room. The shot starts close on his hands, and then pulls back to reveal each of the other actors entering the scene. The dolly moves back into a close-up as the scene ends. The single and double shots where pick-ups after shooting the master.

The music is also key to how the piece plays, and I am greatful to Thomas DeRenzo for writing an original composition.

It is ironic that Mel Gibson's Passion for Christ was also released the same month (March 2004).
